Should you pay tax in the UK if you work in Europe?

I am an Austrian citizen who is employed by a UK based company, but I work in Europe. I am paid in Pounds into a UK bank account. My family live in the UK - I own a house in the UK. Should I still pay UK Tax?

If you are a resident of the UK you usually should be paying tax to the Inland Revenue.

When are you classed as a non-resident? I work away for 11 months out of the year I was requested to fill in a P85 by the revenue office which I did 2 years ago and they are still requesting different things and now seem to have “lost my file”.
Thanks for the input

According to the Inland Revenue: If you leave the UK to work abroad full-time, you will become not resident if:

1. Your absence and employment from the UK covers a complete tax year
2. You spend less than 183 days in the UK during the tax year
3. Your visits to the UK do not average 91 days or more a tax year over a maximum of four years

As a British National, if i have a consultancy company registered in the UK but live and work outside of the UK, am I liable to pay tax on all income paid in the UK?
