It has been 6 weeks now. I have been paid twice by my new employer and have been emergancy taxed. What can we do about this?

Your employer should have given you a P45 when you finished working for them.

As you have been paying emergency tax it is likely that you have overpaid tax and will therefore be able to claim a tax refund at the end of the tax year.

To avoid paying any more emergency tax, you can complete a P46:

I stopped working for my last employer in December. I paid emergency tax while working for them, which was never resolved as the details on my P46 were wrong and they avoided dealing with it. I have also not recieved a P45. I have attempted to get this rectified but they are not responding to my emails or phone calls. What should I do?
