If I were to rent out my mortgaged residential property and move into separate rented accommodation myself, therefore paying rent does one offset the other?

Im currently working abroad and have recently been classed as a non UK resident will i still have to pay CGT on my rented property in the UK ?

Hi, I finished my job in England in April 2010, took 6 months off and then started a job abroad in October 2010. Am I eligable for a tax rebate when I go back to England in October 2011 ?
