Yes the deadline for claiming a tax refund is currently 6 years.
So if you have worked and then left the UK any time in the past 6 years you can make a claim for a tax refund.
The Inland Revenue is changing the deadlines and we therefore do not recommend that you wait when making your claim, and therefore apply as soon as possible.

I am working in the UK as my wife is studying here. My visa is STUDENT DEPENDENT visa. I have been paying tax for my jobs here. Someone just told me that as a student dependent, I do not have to pay tax for my jobs. Is thic correct?
