I was self-employed in the UK for 10 months in the 2009-2010 tax year and have not paid any tax or class 4 NICs yet.

Do I have to do my tax return and pay tax and NICs? And can I then claim them back due to my not living in the UK any more? Thanks

I am British but have lived abroad for most of my working life and spent 10 months working on a self-employed basis in the UK during the 2009-2010 tax year
