I play various games on an american gamesite, worldwinner.com I am taxed on winnings, it adds up to a considerable amount of tax I am contributing to the USA, yet I live in the UK, is it possible I could claim this tax back?

If you are earning income you should probably be paying tax on it. We would need to know more to say for sure.
So you may need to do a UK tax return.
The UK and the US have a double taxation agreement so any tax that you paid in the US could be offset against any tax that you should pay in the UK.
