I just want to know if I would recive a refund as I am earning a lot less money now. I was out of work for a while last year when i was made redundant and earned half of what i used to now but my code has not changed to 653L.

Often if you loose your job you can end up over paying tax.

You should have got a P45 when you lost your job. This will tell you how much you earned during the tax year (Between April 6th and the 5th April).
