When you lost your job, if you stopped working part way through the tax year, you will be able to make a claim for a tax refund.
Do you still have the P45 you should have been given from your employer when you lost your job?
If you do, you can apply for your tax refund here:
If you do not have your P45, you can write to your employer that made you redundant, and ask for a ‘statement of earnings’ on company headed paper. This will act as a replacement for a P45.
