I have been working in UK since Sep 2005 and I have been Employed Full-Time Since 2006 and I am paying tax and NI every month and I have kept all of my payslips, P45 and P60. I am planning to leave UK in 2012. I am a non-resident from India. I have following questions: 1- For how many years I can claim the tax refund? 2- What are the documents that I have to provide? 3- And what is your fee?

TaxFix

Hello. In answer to your questions:

1. The furthest back you can claim a tax refund is for 6 years. The deadlines are currently changing and we recommend that you do not wait this long to make a claim. As soon as you have your P60 you can make a claim for the previous year.

2. If you are still working we only need your P60 to make a claim. If you have finished working then we need your P45 as well. Please provide as much information as you can both P45/P60 if you have them, as this will avoid any delays.

3. We only charge a fee if and when we get your tax refund. If no refund is due we charge nothing. If you send in your application within 14 days we only charge 16.8%. If you send it in after 14 days of registering we charge 18.9%
