TaxFix

You will need to wait until the tax year is over on the 5th April before you can claim your tax refund.

When the tax year is over, you should get a P60 from your employer. Send this together with your application which can be completed at:

Last year I worked for 5 months, the rest of the year I claimed job seekers allowance, which I am still on. I have received my P60 from my previous employment and a P60U from jobcentre. The total of my income was £8784 and the tax I paid was £788. (tax code 647L) I think I paid too much tax but would I be entitled to claim if I am still on JSA and can I claim with a P60 and a P60U, or do I need a P45?
