Having opted for voluntary redundancy on 25/6.

, I was assured that my P45 and payments would be sorted within a few weeks. However, I have received neither and contacted my former employer who say that i am still on their books and wont release anything even though I dont work for them or receive any wage. I have also learned that they have started new staff even though all full-time employees are on redundancy notice. What can I do to get my P45 and redundancy payment? Also, I am not alone in volunteering.

If you were not given your P45, and need it to give to a new employer you can use a P46 instead:
