If you lost your job before April 5th (the end of the tax year) you may be eligible to claim a tax refund.

You should get a P60 from the job centre. This will show you how much income you received from them. Add this to your income from your P45 which you should have got when you finished working. And then input your total income and tax for the tax year into our tax rebate calculator:

i was paid £6125 an paid £625 tax when i was employed in the 2010/11 tax year. i also claimed £740 in jsa in the same tax year. am i due a tax refund?
