We would need to know more to tell you if you can claim a tax rebate.

There are a number of reasons which could entitle you to apply for a tax rebate including:

1. Being on the wrong tax code.
2. Losing your job.
3. Being on an emergency tax
4. Earning below the tax free allowance (£6,475)
5. Retiring from work.

Every year between April and May you should receive a P60. This will tell you how much tax you have paid and how much you have earned and you can use this to see if you are due a rebate. Input the figures into a tax rebate calculator:
